Currently we are in search of a full-time architect or experienced drafter to join our team of designers and project managers. It would be great to chat with you about your experience, the position, what it’s like to work here at the Wadsworth Company!

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in architectural drafting
• Visual awareness, an eye for detail, and a strong architectural portfolio
• Excellent drawing skills and proficiency in design software (SketchUp, AutoCAD)
• Knowledge of building products, code, regulations, and quality standards
• Strong imagination and the ability to think and create in three dimensions
• Communication and project management skills

Responsibilities

• You will be involved in new construction designs, additions, and renovations from the earliest stages through to completion
• The goal is to match client’s needs and to produce sustainable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing designs
• Produce detailed construction documents and make revisions as needed
• Develop 3D models and renderings of projects
• Make on-site visits to check on project status and report on project
• Develop ideas keeping in mind client’s needs, and building’s use
• Compile project specifications
• Cooperate and coordinate with construction professionals
